First, identify whose quote it is
A clinic’s medical estimate and a separate coordination fee describe different work. Ask who issued each quote, who would receive payment and which services that person or organisation would provide.
This project currently has neither a confirmed planning fee nor clinic treatment quotes. There is no price comparison or savings claim here.
Ask for the inclusions in writing
Before agreeing, ask the provider to describe the specific appointment or service, what is included and what is excluded. Ask whether the price is an estimate, what it depends on and when a final amount can be confirmed.
- Are assessment appointments quoted separately?
- What further items could be proposed after assessment?
- Are materials, records, interpretation or later visits included?
- What currency is the quote in, and how long is it valid?
Plan for changes without guessing the cost
Ask the clinic how it would explain a proposed change to the plan, what the revised costs would be and how you would decide before the change proceeds. A preliminary conversation should not be read as a final clinical plan.
For any separate planning service, ask whether an appointment change would affect that service’s scope or fee.
Check payment and cancellation details
Ask who takes payment, at what point, by which methods, and what written evidence of payment you would receive. Request the provider’s cancellation and refund terms before paying.
Keep travel costs in your own budget. Ask airlines, accommodation providers and any other suppliers about their own terms; this site does not include or arrange them.
A useful sentence for your enquiry
“Please confirm the payee, currency, included items, exclusions, any estimate conditions and how changes or cancellations would be handled before I decide.”
